SAWCA Kept The “Comp Lights On”
During the past year …in response to the travel restriction and health concerns, SAWCA burned the midnight oil to enable discussions and information sharing among its members and the industry at large. Just a couple of months into the pandemic…in April and May of 2020… SAWCA presented a National Regulators Virtual Town Hall and a private “Regulators Only” Virtual Roundtable enabling the sharing of issues, challenges, and concerns among the leadership of state agencies. SAWCA followed up with the 72nd annual convention in a virtual format…which was followed a few months later by the 2020 All Committee Conference, also presented virtually, all events that continued the national dialogue of critical issues created by earlier events.

SAWCA Puts The Finishing Touches On The 2020 Virtual All Committee Conference
The Southern Association of Workers’ Compensation Administrators held its All Committee Conference in a virtual format November 18-19, 2020.
Regulators and industry professionals from across the nation shared their experience, knowledge, insight and perspectives on a broad range of topics as Scott Beck, Chairman of the South Carolina Commission and SAWCA President hosted our second virtual conference this year. From the Regulators Roundtable led by Judge Melodie Belcher which opened the virtual conference …followed by panel discussions led by Greg Gilbert, Concentra…and Tom Glasson, AIG … to the traditional closing session moderated by Bob Wilson, SAWCA remained true to its mission of providing quality educational opportunities for the workers’ compensation industry.
This year has been nothing if not unpredictable… but SAWCA has continued to benefit from and is grateful for the continued support of our Sponsors, Exhibitors, Associate Members, and Attendees who partner with us to deliver an educational experience unlike any other.
Through the partnership and generosity of our many sponsors, SAWCA is able to share all four sessions of our recently completed All Committee Conference with all interested parties. The links below provide you access to the 2020 ACC Program that includes The Regulators Roundtable; The Doctor Is In…Virtually; The Good Old Stuff…Time To Remodel; and Things That Make Bob Go Hmmm. Whether you are watching them for the first time, reviewing a previously viewed section that was of particular interest, or sharing the link with an industry/regulatory colleague…this information is for you to enjoy.
